The Serbian Cultural Center “Constantin” in Timișoara has the great honor to announce an exceptional cultural event: the launch of “Tamo Daleko”, the autobiography of Her Royal Highness Princess Jelisaveta Karađorđević.
The event will take place on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 7:00 PM, in the ceremonial hall of the Episcopal Palace of the Serbian Diocese in Timișoara (entrance from Gheorghe Lazăr Street).
The book launch will be graced by the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Jelisaveta Karađorđević, who will personally present and promote the volume. The event will be moderated by Dr. Vladimir Jeftić, Executive Secretary of the Serbian Cultural Center “Constantin.”
Princess Jelisaveta Karađorđević is a direct descendant of Prince Alexander Karađorđević, ruler of the Principality of Serbia, and holds a special historical connection to Timișoara, the city where her family lived in the 19th century. “Tamo Daleko” stands as a valuable testimony of recent history, reflecting the experiences and life journey of a remarkable figure of Serbian culture and spirituality.
Through this launch, Timișoara once again becomes a bridge between cultures and traditions, reaffirming the historic ties and friendship between the Serbian community and the Romanian people.
